About Kate
I was born in Anaheim and grew up in Riverside. I was always a very good student and was very involved in clubs and especially student government in high school. After graduation, I moved to St. George, Utah where I went to school at Dixie State College and was planning to become a News Anchor. Instead, I got into Real Estate. I met the most wonderful and dear people in St. George, but I always knew I belonged in Southern California. I lived there for 4 years and then happily moved to Corona, California and work in Real Estate and Lending.
About Wayne
Wayne was born in Long Beach and grew up in Riverside as well. He grew up playing baseball and then in high school, he was on the wrestling team and got into motocross racing. He worked through high school doing mechanic and customizing work to cars and trucks and loved it. After high school, he served a 2-year mission for our church in Lansing, Michigan. Upon return to Sunny California, he returned to the auto customizing business. Wayne is very patient, kind, hardly gets upset and has a generous heart.
How we met
Wayne and I grew up in the same Stake at our church. We knew of each other but hardly spoke to each other. I always thought Wayne was gorgeous but was too nervous to talk to him and he did have a girlfriend. After I had moved to St. George and Wayne had come back from his mission, he decided to look me up and we immediately started dating. Six months later after Wayne and I making many trips back and forth from St. George to Riverside, I moved to Corona, California. Six months later, Wayne proposed!
